Squad Day 86: Recovery
It’s finally tapering off. Finally, this renegade period that came back for round two, is finishing itself up. I feel so much more energetic today, and optimistic, and not like hot garbage juice in July. I’m not tired, I’m not run down, I’m not cramping, or yelling at my uterus for it’s shenanigans.
Yesterday I did Valkyrie Yoga 2 and I held that warrior pose for a solid minute on each side. I was in the zone, and I didn’t even think about how badly my legs were shaking or how sore my quads would be. And today, surprisingly they’re not sore hardly at all. I’m going to do Blade Day 6&7 stretches and some core reset work today, so I can start over again with Blade day 1 tomorrow. Yes, starting over entirely, because last week was a mess, and for me personally, I’d feel better just repeating it all over again and getting a solid week down.
We are supposed to set up the tree today. I don’t believe in fake trees, but my husbands aunt does, so that is unfortunately what we’re doing. I’m debating buying a small potted tree to put in my bedroom so I can have all the Winter Solstice Vibes I want, including a real tree that smells amazing. We’ll see how that goes.

It’s super sunshiney outside, not a cloud in the sky and no gusting wind bellowing at the door. A perfect day for a walk with Yrsa. She seems to have a bit of the zoomies this morning too, so a long walk is needed. Fresh air and sunshine, core reset and some stretches, followed by mindstilling. Sounds perfect, right?
